SURVIVAL DRIVE - Help Bellingham Youth Stay Warm This Fall

SurvivalDrive

Outdoor gear is “leisure gear” for some – but for young people sleeping outside, it is essential for survival. Help homeless youth stay warm this winter by donating in-demand items to Northwest Youth Services during October Survival Drive. Make a donation at any of the participating breweries: Aslan Brewing Co.,Boundary Bay BreweryChuckanut BreweryKulshan Brewing Co., and Wander Brewing.

Northwest Youth Services provides housing and wrap-around support services to young people age 13 to 24 in Whatcom and Skagit County. The nonprofit’s mission is to collaborate with at-risk, runaway, and homeless youth to foster self-reliance. Their vision is that all young people have a place to belong: to be safe, heard, and valued.

On Tuesday, October 4, each participating brewery will kick off the month-long drive with a “Drink Out” fundraising event: 10 percent of drink sales for that day will benefit Northwest Youth Services’ Detour Street Outreach Program.
