To celebrate the Aslan Depot's second anniversary, we constructed 2 Deep — a unique blend of four select oak casks aged in our cellar for over two years. These casks endured the trials, tribulations, & joys of sensory exploitation at the beloved Depot over the last two years.
While pale and straight forward to the eyes, this beer continues to unfold on the tongue — freshly thawed pine needles turn to ripe peach skins, followed by a strong finish that takes you to the hop fields of Marlborough N.Z. An assertive acidity laced with wet oak ties it all together. The aging potential here is high. Drink one now while it's "fresh" and save some for future moments of contemplation. Cheers to two years, and wherever this winding road may lead!
