Yakima Select is a Pilsner brewed to celebrate the beauty of the growing region we call home. We wanted to prove (to ourselves) that using strictly Washington-grown organic ingredients, we could still produce a proper Pilsner. This beer uses one malt variety from Skagit Valley Malting and one hop variety from Roy Farms. For all the simplicity, this beer has nuance and character. The malt provides a light, bready body that carries the herbal and lemon flavors from the hops to a clean, drying bitterness. Yakima Select is undoubtedly Washington and is as Cold as the Cascades.
