BEING A BREWSHED ALLIANCE MEMBER

Aslan Brewing has been a member of the Washington Wild Brewshed Alliance since 2014. With nearly 90 brewing industry partners across the state, the Brewshed Alliance focuses on protecting our waterways throughout the PNW. Beer is 90% water, so why not ensure we keep our fresh mountain water the highest quality possible?

By raising awareness through collaboration/donation beers, fundraising events, signing public comment letters, and more, Aslan has been awarded the 2024 Brewshed Alliance Award! We’ve learned so much about the land we reside on from Washington Wild, and are so grateful to have a platform to work with them and encourage our community to do what’s best for this land.

This year, our Operations Manager Layne Carter joined the board of Washington Wild. The board sets long and short-range goals, approves the annual budgets and is responsible for diversified fund development, and the leadership development of the organization.

FORESTALGIA

In August, we teamed up with Washington Wild and BottleWorks to create what might just be the largest collaboration brew ever: Forestalgia!

Members from the Brewshed Alliance were invited to participate, have their logo represented on the can, and join us at our brewing facility on the brewday. We managed to squeeze 100 beer industry partners’ logos on a 16 oz can (shoutout to Austin, our amazing graphic designer!!)

Forestalgia is defined as an individual's yearning for an idealized future. This fits perfectly with the Alliance’s goal of protecting our environment for the future generation of humans, animals, plants, and great beer.

Made with Salmon-Safe hops, this organic American Lager boasts flavors of rose, lemon, and honey, paired with a sweet, crackery malt profile, leading to a refreshing, bright lager.

WILD NIGHT OUT

The Aslan crew accepted our award at Washington Wild’s annual fundraising event, Wild Night Out. That night, over $90,000 was raised for Wa Wild! We had such a great evening mingling with folks who shared the goal of protecting our planet.

A HUGE thank you to Washington Wild for the recognition. We are looking forward to continuing to grow in partnership with you!
