Why Organic Beer?

All beer brewed at Aslan Brewing Company is USDA Certified Organic. That means that our beer is made without artificial flavors or preservatives, toxic persistent pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, artificial hormones, antibiotics, and genetically modified organisms (GMOs). In addition to the ingredients used in the beer, the chemicals used in brewery cleaning also need to be approved, therefore have a lower impact on the environment.

drink organic beer.

Making organic beer can be more expensive and difficult when it comes to sourcing ingredients but it’s something that is very important to us. Our ingredient suppliers go above and beyond to meet green standards that include but are not limited to biorational insecticide usage, soil and tissue analysis reports, organic seed verification, and the restriction of cross-contamination from nearby conventional farms or products.

Here are a couple of reasons why we are passionate about producing organic beer and why you should be passionate about choosing organic products.

Organic farming protects the health of farm workers, their families, folks living near the farms, and the end consumers… YOU!

Organic farming supports biodiversity and promotes ecological balance.

Being an organic brewery creates a higher demand for organic ingredients, thus making them more affordable and accessible.

Being organic means that we are fully transparent regarding the details of our suppliers and the overall brewing process.

By using organic ingredients, we are protecting the soil, vegetation, rivers, streams, animals, and the air surrounding these farms.

Using organic produce helps protects the health of the crop & raw ingredients in which we use.
