JANUARY NONPROFIT HIGHLIGHT: POW - PROTECTING OUR WINTERS

As we move into the new year, we’re proud to announce that our January 2025 Donation Partner is Protect our Winters - AKA POW, a nonprofit organization dedicated to turning passionate outdoor enthusiasts into climate advocates. At a time when the impacts of climate change are becoming increasingly evident.

POW works to inspire and mobilize the outdoor community to take action on climate change. With a focus on advocacy, policy change, and raising awareness, they have created a movement that unites athletes, artists, and brands to drive transformative solutions for our planet. By leveraging the power of outdoor enthusiasts. POW is making real strides in pushing for policies that reduce carbon emissions and protect our natural environments.

Their vision is bold: a future where the world embraces renewable energy, electric transport, breakthrough technologies, and market policies to achieve carbon neutrality by the middle of the century. Imagine a world where we drive to trailheads, crags, and ski areas in zero-emission vehicles, and where both individuals and industries pay a fair price for their carbon footprint. POW is working hard to make this vision a reality.

We’re excited to partner with POW this month and amplify their work. Climate change is a global challenge, but together, through policy advocacy, education, and action, we can create the changes that are needed to protect the outdoor spaces we cherish.
